Conditions of participation in cCharger competition IAA 2023

Procedure of the competition

The duration of the competition is from 4 September 2023 at 10 am to 8 September 2023 at 11:59 pm. During this period, people will be given the opportunity to enter the competition online and on-site at the eClever exhibition stand (Hall A3, Stand B214).

Eligible Participants

Participants must be 18 years of age or over to participate in the competition. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organiser and it is independent on the purchase of goods or services.

The consent of participant’s legal representative is required if the participant’s legal capacity is restricted. People involved in the conception and implementation of the competition, employees of the company as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition.

In addition, the company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify participants if there are justified reasons, including but not limited to:

(a) in the event of manipulation of the competition,
(b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation,
(c) in the event of dishonest conduct; or
(d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.

Winning, notification and dispatching the prize

The following prize(s) will be awarded:
1x cCharger charging station for electric vehicles (manufacturer eClever).

The winner will be determined after the closing date by means of a random draw among all the participants. If the competition is linked to a task, only those participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the draw.

The winner of the raffle will be informed of the prize in a timely manner via e-mail. The prize will only be handed over to the winner or to the winner's legal representative in the event of legal incapacity. It is not possible to exchange, collect or pay out the prize in cash.

Any costs incurred for the dispatch of the prizes will be borne by the company. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxes imposed on the prize.

The winner must respond within three weeks of being asked twice. Failure to do so, the prize will be transferred to another participant.

Termination of the competition

The organiser reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.

Data protection

Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participants assure that the personal information they provide, in particular their first name, surname and e-mail address, is true and correct.

The organiser assures that all personal data of the participants will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without their consent.

In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner on the website of the company / organizer and its social media platforms.

Participants may revoke their declared consent at any time. The revocation must be reported by e-mail to marketing@eclever.io. After revocation of the consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participating person will be deleted immediately.

Applicable law

Questions or complaints in connection with the competition should be addressed to the company. Contact details can be found in the imprint section or on the contact page. The competition is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability clause

Should any clause of the terms and conditions of participation become invalid in whole or in part, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining clauses. The invalid clause shall be replaced by a legally permissible clause that most closely resembles the economic intent and purpose of the invalid clause. The same applies in the event of a loophole in the conditions of participation.
