FAQ

No, you do not need to purchase an extra SIM card. There is already a permanently installed SIM card in the cBox.

The cBox can be powered either via USB-C in the vehicle or, preferably, by connecting it directly to the vehicle’s 12 V battery.

The battery of your cBox is charged automatically, so there is no manual action required.

The cBox telematics device must be mounted under the engine bonnet so that it is positioned horizontally. The eClever logo has to be facing upwards and must not be covered by any components. Connect the cBox telemetry system to your vehicle’s 12 V battery using the connection cable.

Your personal data is safe with us. The servers on which your data is processed are located in Germany and are therefore subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable in Europe. We only process the personal data that is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the service we provide. In addition, the data is adequately protected to prevent unauthorized access, loss or manipulation.

  • GPS tracking is necessary for accurate route planning and for current location data of the vehicles. As GPS information can include personal data, we must ensure that we comply with data protection regulations. We therefore need to inform drivers about this and obtain their consent.
  • From a technical point of view, however, there is nothing to consider if the vehicles in your fleet are equipped with our cPack. The cPack already contains the required GPS module.
