Fleet management means planning, managing, controlling and monitoring an (electric) vehicle fleet. It is about how an organization uses and maintains their vehicles and manages the associated tasks. Specialized fleet management software makes it easier to carry out these tasks by making them more efficient and effective.

Conventional fleet management usually focuses on vehicles such as vans, buses and trucks. The management of e-fleets has initially focused on e-cars and e-transporters. However, given the rapid pace of technological development, buses and trucks will also increasingly switch to electric engines in the near future.

The eClever fleet management software makes no fundamental distinction in terms of vehicle size. However, our tool is primarily designed for smaller fleets that are mainly equipped with cars or vans.

Using a Fleet Software does offer quite a few advantages. Some of them are:

To use the full range of our fleet management software features, your vehicles must be equipped with our telematics unit called cBox. In combination with the cPlug (also available as a bundle called cPack), it visualizes all important vehicle data such as location, consumption, charging status and remaining range. This data is presented in a structured dashboard consisting of a vehicle overview and a detailed display.

eClever Fleet grows with your organization and is particularly useful for fleets with e-cars and e-transporters. In combination with the integrable charging and load management as well as the eClever app for optimized and vehicle-specific route planning, we offer you a unique and customizable ecosystem. Our hardware products (cPack, cCable and cCharger) make the holistic approach complete.

eClever Fleet is scalable and grows with your organization. It can be used for any fleet size – whether you want to manage 5 or 100 vehicles.

Your personal data is safe with us. The servers on which your data is processed are located in Germany and are therefore subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable in Europe. We only process the personal data that is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the service we provide. In addition, the data is adequately protected to prevent unauthorised access, loss or manipulation.

  • GPS tracking is necessary in order to optimize route planning and to know the current location of the vehicles. As GPS data can be personal information, we must ensure that we comply with data protection regulations. We therefore have to inform the drivers and obtain their consent. 
  • From a technical point of view, however, there is nothing to consider in particular as long as the vehicles in your fleet are equipped with our cPack. The cPack already contains the required GPS module.
